  • Foley Believes More Stars Are Rising

After the announcement of the Wallabies Rugby Championship side, Western Force coach Michael Foley mentioned a group of players he believes will be in contention for gold jersey over the next 12 months.

Foley noted that it was merely injuries to Luke Morahan and Kyle Godwin that excluded them from Ewen McKenzies watchful eye and said they definitely could have been regarded.

"Kyle and Luke are two guys that certainly could have been considered had they not been bumped."

Outside of this group Foley suggested Adam Coleman, Angus Cottrell and Sam Wykes.

"Outside of that there is another group of guys like Adam (Coleman), Gus (Angus Cottrell) and Wyksey (Sam Wykes) that if they chase improvement over this next period that we are about to undertake could come into next season even better."

Nick Cummins was excluded from the side after announcing his plans to play rugby in Japan next season. He was replaced by uncapped Brumbies winger Henry Speight.
