Angus Cottrell has signed with the Western Force for an additional two years at the club.
Cottrell has been part of a lethal back row combination with Wallabies Matt Hodgson and Ben McCalman, a combination that could possibly be made up of entirely Wallabies within the next few seasons.
The flanker has shown his skill and physicality over the season and has shown that he is the sort of player that has a strong chance of making the Wallabies squad before his contract ends.
With this extension Cottrell will have nothing on his mind other than playing strong football so he is in a very good position.
Cottrell won't be able to assist the Force for the rest of the season, but he looks set to be a future leader of the forward pack and the squad for the coming years.
